“Support beyond
expectations.”
I am a as 29-year-old Indian man. I came to Dr. Carolyn, two years ago, after a psychiatric hospitalization for schizophrenia. I was on so much medication my younger sisters had to toilet me, feed me, be with me all day and night. I could not sit still or sleep. She saw me weekly and diagnosed me with Bipolar and changed my medications. I am functioning, have a job and the support and respect of my family again.
“Support beyond
expectations.”
I am a 30 yo Guatemalan male, three years ago I came to Dr. Carolyn, three years ago, because I cut the brakes on my father and brother-in-law car. I was running into the freeway and jumping out of windows. I am taking an injection and see her every month. I now take care of the older people in my family every day.
“Support beyond
expectations.”
I am a 45 yo African American female, that started working with Dr. Carolyn two years ago. I have been on multiple medications and stopped them early. She educated me about the side effects and that they would go away, they did. I was started on a new medication to the market and my depression and anxiety are gone
“Support beyond
expectations.”
I am a 28 yo Mexican American woman, seeing Dr. Carolyn for two years. I was abused, have an autistic child, and was scared to be in a groups. She helped me to be in group therapy, individual therapy, and collaborate with my child’s school. My depression, anxiety and poor concentration are gone. I went back to school and completed my master’s degree in social work. I will be eternally grateful.
“Support beyond
expectations.”
I am a 29 yo Togan/Black male, been with Dr. Carolyn for eighteen months. I was hearing voices, having nightmares (from being in prison and seeing my twin murdered), and anxiety. I was homeless. She wrote letters for court, encouraged me to take my medication to get stable. Now I have my own place, seeing my kid weekly. She was a life saver.
“Support beyond
expectations.”
I am a Caucasian female age 37. When I started seeing Dr. Carolyn, two years ago, I was manic, I had lost my job, was on academic probation and losing my apartment. She worked with me and prescribed several medications until I was able to tolerate two. She began to slowly increase them, so I would not stop. Eight months later I was sharing an apartment, back in school, substitute teaching and preparing to graduate with a master’s in education.
